The heros in both of these stories were lawyers from KidsVoice who made a difference in the life of a child. There are many children like Tony and April whose lives are better because of the help and advocacy provided by KidsVoice. But sadly, many other children slip through the cracks of our juvenile court and social service systems, never receiving the time or attention they deserve.

Pennsylvania statutes require that all children in dependency proceedings (abuse and neglect cases) receive representation by an attorney**. During the 2005-2006 fiscal year, KidsVoice represented more than 5,000 children.
